The original Pantanassa Icon of the 17th century is located in the Temple of the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi on Mount Athos. Two exact copies of the icon were made at Vatopedi, upon request from the Patriarchate of Moscow, and have been transferred to the Church of All Saints at Krasnoe Selo and to the Monastery of Metamorphosis in Novospaski. The Icon revealed itself as a healer of cancer and other infirmities, including sicknesses of the soul. A reproduction of the icon hangs in many hospital cancer wards throughout Russia.
